Get a group of people together and plan a time to view the heavenly skies. With a telescope, you can see the stars map out their dance to The Little Dipper Do and The Big Dipper doo dah!
If you can not get to a Planetarium or if you would rather, purchase or invest as a group, in a Telescope. Then, plan with your neighborhood, class mates and friends, to have your very own “Star Party”!
Add refreshments, blankets, chairs, hammocks and pillows and enjoy the evening sky. You will be amazed at how much fun you will have, looking at something that is not man made.
If you are aware of a Planetarium in your area, you have the best place to view the sky. If not, check online at http://www.go-astronomy.com/planetariums.htm. Please contact the planetarium for information on directions, times, seating, and related space and astronomy shows.
